These filmmakers are trying to resurrect a dead genre.

The Flower of Battle is an adventure comedy short film, made for fans of THE PRINCESS BRIDE, ZORRO, and classic Hollywood swashbucklers.

It’s premiering at the Academy Award qualifying LA SHORTS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Locations near where classic swashbucklers were filmed, exciting sword fights, plus a score recorded by a full live orchestra help bring this classic genre alive.
